MY WORK

My paintings move between abstraction and figuration, rooted in the connection between human beings and nature. I am drawn to the female figure, still lifes, florals, window light, quiet compositions that hold both the tangible and the fleeting. In these subjects I search for a feeling — beauty, movement, color harmonies that arise in the moment, not before. I am drawn to classical themes — transience, the search for meaning — not as historical motifs, but as timeless questions translated into a contemporary painterly language. I want my work to carry a sense of universality: to speak to something shared, beyond time and place. I work in oil, applying thin layers quickly — to catch the moment before it disappears, to keep the lightness that stillness requires, and to leave something that moves the viewer.

ABOUT ME

I live and work near Vienna, Austria. Painting has been part of my life since childhood. Studies in art history, combined with instruction from internationally renowned artists, deepened both my understanding of art and my own practice. In 2015 I was accepted into Alex Kanevsky's workshop in Madrid, an experience that left a lasting mark on my artistic development. Before dedicating myself fully to painting, I also worked as a photographer — a practice that sharpened my eye for light, composition and the fleeting moment. Today I paint primarily in oil and exhibit my work regularly.
