MY WORK
My paintings moves between abstraction and figuration, born from a desire to evoke the deep connection between human beings and nature. In poetic figures, still lifes and dreamy landscapes I search for beauty — for moments of stillness and inwardness in the restless pace of today. Each painting is an invitation to pause and rediscover the quiet beauty of the present moment. I explore color, form, and the quiet tension between them. My work moves between abstraction and emotion, always searching for what painting can hold.
My studies in art history have left a lasting imprint on my practice. I am drawn to classical themes — the female figure, transience, the search for meaning — not as historical motifs, but as timeless questions that I translate into a contemporary painterly language. I want my work to carry a sense of universality — to speak to something shared, beyond time and place.
I work in oil, applying thin layers quickly — to catch the moment before it disappears, and to keep the lightness that stillness requires.
ABOUT ME
I live and work near Vienna, Austria. Painting has been part of my life since childhood. Studies in art history, combined with instruction from internationally renowned artists, deepened both my understanding of art and my own practice. In 2015 I was accepted into Alex Kanevsky's workshop in Madrid, an experience that left a lasting mark on my artistic development. Before dedicating myself fully to painting, I also worked as a photographer — a practice that sharpened my eye for light, composition and the fleeting moment. Today I paint primarily in oil and exhibit my work regularly.
